Fun Day

Yesteray was quite the fun day for the Woolley family. We started with not a whole lot of excitement around the house, besides having sub-water in our crawl space. Eric went and got a pump and we hung around the house to make sure the pump would work. While we worked on that, we also got some naps in. By the time we woke up and everything, it was already two O'clock. I felt that the day had been wasted and was feeling that the rest of the day was going to be pretty uneventful as well. Not that just relaxing and hanging around the house isn't fun. But we haven't done too much stuff outside that we were hoping to be able to do. Busy work schedules, and other such things have not allowed for us to do the camping, hiking, and fun activities we would have liked to do so far this summer.
Well, yesterday afternoon we headed out to take a hike. We went over to Teton Canyon and had a great time hiking. I was a little skeptical about how Ericka would do, but she really did great. She was such a trooper. It was pretty funny though, because we really wanted her to walk or be on Eric's shoulders...which she preferred to just be carried at first. But, after a while she decided she would like to walk by herself. It was so cute to watch her. Any rock that was in the path, she would have to, ever so carefully, climb over it. She sure is the little hiker though! She walked quite a long way by herself...which surprised both Eric and I. When we turned around, Ericka was pretty tuckered out, and we took turns carrying her back down the trail. The movement lulled her to sleep, and she got a good nap in on the way back. We had a great time hiking Teton Canyon!
This picture is awesome, isn't it? We didn't get many of all of us together, but I had to put the pictures of all of us on here. Not my favorite, but at least we are all in it!
Ericka was cheesing it up for the camera. And she loved being outside and hiking around!

This is a better picture of all us...we had so much fun! Ericka managed to stay in a pretty good mood with the consumption of some yummy fruit snacks. Eric really did have a good time, you can't really tell with his priceles "stern" face, but he did!
