The Girls in Alaska

This is the second section of the Alaska pictures. I thought I would save the pictures of the girls for the last. We had a blast up in Cordova with Grandpa and Grandma Neilson! Ericka always talks about wanting to go see Grandpa and Grandma in Alaska!!! We got to go fishing, 4-wheeling, to the harbor and walk on the docks, to visit the lake daily, and to just have a great time visiting with my mom and dad! We can't wait to go back!!!

This was our trip down the Eyak River...we had to ensure that Claire would stay afloat...I think she could hold her own without a life jacket, but we needed to be sure.

Ericka was pretty fascinated with the halibut!

Ericka got to take a ride in Jared's Kennedy's Super-cub...we had such an awesome time! We saw a huge black bear, and lots of lakes/ponds, waterfalls, the ocean, and the beautiful town of Cordova!

Ericka said about the waterfalls, "I saw water falling!"

We spent a lot of time down at the lake. There wasn't a day that we didn't walk down the hill from my parents house to throw rocks in the water or to just splash around for a bit.

The 4-wheeling trip where we took the kids with us. I even took Claire in my sling...she did surprisingly well. We had a lot of fun!
