Fun Things

Since arriving here in PA we have had the chance to do some fun stuff. We went to this place called Briar Bush Nature Center/Park. We went on the Saturday over Labor Day weekend, so it was pretty low key. They did have one employee at the center so we were able to go inside and see the few animals they have there. The girls sure got a kick out of seeing the animals though!

They had a rat running around in a ball. The girls were so excited about seeing this! And Lillian kept grabbing the ball and attempting to throw it...we left soon after that!

There were these really cool frogs in this one. There were four albino frogs and one brown one...the girls got so excited when one would poke out from behind rocks under the water.

Lil was pointing to the water in the pond we were sitting by. She would have gone in if we had let her, but we were not about to let that happen!

We love spending time at the playground at the elementary school. It is so nice because we live only about a block from the school, so it is super easy to run over to the playground and let the kids play and run off some energy! When it isn't raining, which it has been quite a bit lately, we go to the park almost every day!

The girls love when I let them play out on the front porch. The road in front of our house is pretty busy and tons of people walk by all the time to the college on the corner, so I don't let them out without me going out with them. But they love playing on the little porch swing. We love our little house here!

Lilly seems so grown when she plays on the equipment at the playground. That girl is fearless! She will climb all the way to the top and go down the big slides all by herself! And don't even try to stop her, because she will freak out! She is just a little monkey!!

Claire and her ten little monkeys! Ericka, Claire, and Lilly all LOVE olives! You open a can and every last olive will be gone within like five minutes!!
